Mom and Suzy's Visit: Last Day

The last day my mom and sister were here the sun came out and there was a nice breeze so we opened up the garage and played out there while they packed up the car to head to my other sisters in Highland.  The kids had a great time.  Peter loved wearing Kallie snow boots and riding her bike.

 My sister brought up a box of some stuff from when I was little.  This cabbage patch was one of them.  It was mine when I was little.  Kallie loves dolls so she was thrilled to receive it.  She loves to play in this bike trailer.  It can keep her busy for quite a while.

This handsome little guy doesn't smile just yet, but we were able to capture a few pictures of the corners of his mouth curled up just a little. He is so funny, he laughs/giggles without smiling.  It is the funniest thing to see :) They are pretty cute kids!  Loved having them here.

quickly turned to this:

that's an ouch face...she apparently didn't like getting squished, and Peter is loving it :)  Carter is lookin' at Kallie like, "what is up with you?"

Then we resorted to this...and they were happy.

 I love these pictures of Kallie and my Mom.  They are priceless.

...and she was very sad to see them go.  She wasn't the only one.

 A forced goodbye.
Peter did NOT want to give goodbye kisses, but Kallie just wasn't having that.  A little help from Mom and kisses were given.
(apparently it was matchy smatchy day...almost all of us were wearing grey and black in some form or another.  Not intentional, but funny.)

This is the awesome face that Carter would make every time the dog came near.  He had a couple of encounters with the dog running into his face and probably got a mouth full of fur, so after that, whenever he came by, he would make this cute scrunchy face in preparation for what might happen.

It was so great to see my family!  It was fun to hang out, do hair cuts and play!  I loved seeing these little cousins interact with each other.  It is amazing how different boys and girls are.  We miss them already and can't wait to see them again!  Love you guys and thanks for coming.  I know it isn't an easy trip to make.  If only we were all closer...a girl can dream, right?
