I just saw my friends cute 2009 blog book and realized that I need to better prioritize the extra curricular things that I am doing. The blog is one of the things that I would like to move WAY UP on the list.
What happened? I used to be so good?
I'll tell you, I got overwhelmed! I feel the need to have my pictures portray perfection seeing that we are in the photography biz. But I am GETTING OVER IT!!! As you can see from my most recent posts. They are pictures from my cell phone! The worst kind there are, but....they capture the moment and I can save that forever, no matter what it looks like. So, no more fretting over perfect pictures. I am just going to
GET IT DONE!
I need to do it! It weighs on me that I haven't been keeping it up. It will be a slow process and I do still have some catching up that I will require to be done. But I am setting aside all other crafts that don't NEED to be done and getting back to business.

yep, i've gone through the same thinking. i always had to edit my pictures (not that they've ever been that good. i'm no photographer.) before they made the cut, but now i don't really care so much. what matters is that you document your life, not that it looks perfect. good luck. look forward to more posting from you!
rachel. look at my blog. does it look like a graphic designers blog? nope. do i EVER talk about graphic design on my blog? nope. am i worried that someone who wants to hire me has searched my name and found my blog and gone nope i don't think so. yup. do i care. sometimes.

don't fret chet. . . and blog. not everyone "shines" all the time. put up the "bad" pictures. i like 1 - knowing that you are human and 2 - reading the blog.

You are so sweet. I don't deserve to be looked up to for being OCD about my blog. ;) But I'm excited to see more posts here! Loved the above catch up post and seeing your fun family.
And p.s. You do amazing things with crafts that are very important, that fulfill you and enrich your family. You are talented and have so many gifts that I admire!
