Just an FYI...
While I am doing some catch up I am post dating the posts to the date they occurred...so there may be a few that are farther back than you think, that you might have missed. I have to do it this way so I keep the events in order. Thanks!

catchin' some z's

We decided a while ago that we were going to cut out Kallie's 4:30am feeding...then she got sick, then we had the holidays, then we went out of town...So we decided this weekend that it would be the perfect time to work on this. The first night was a challenge...she woke up several times and then when feeding time came around, she was up for 45 minutes with Daddy. (I forgot to mention that this meant Dad would be the ONLY one getting up with her) Night number two...only two wakings.

ZZZZZZZ

NIGHT #3: Mom woke up at 5:45 wondering if Kallie was still alive and if she should go check on her! Dada got up to shower...baby still sleeping...Dad went down for breakfast (7am)...baby still sleeping...just after 7:15am or so...Kallie wakes up saying "DADA" cause she heard him in brushing his teeth (I assume)!

SHe SLePT THrOUgH THe WHOLe NIgHt!!!!

She has not done that since she was about 3-4 months old! She would sleep form about 9/10 pm and wake up at 5:30. Then eat and go back to sleep till 7am.

I hope this isn't a fluke! We are crossing our fingers for tonight and counting our blessings for last night! I haven't slept that well in months!

She is almost a year old. This week she will be 11 months! I can't believe it! It is so fun to watch her grow! She is a talker! (no surprise there) She loves that she can crawl and climb stairs. She used to want us to hold her hands and walk her everywhere but now that she can crawl she doesn't do it so much.

Ahhhh. That must have been some much needed sleep! When Josh was a year old we went in for his well child check and the doctor said does he sleep through the night? I said no....She said do you feed him at night I said yes, he is hungry. She said nope he is fine, just say after a certain time the diner is closed. Easier said then done sometimes. A book that was helpful for me was "On becoming baby wise" It talks all about sleeping habbits. Just a suggestion. I know it is hard when they won't sleep.
