We went to the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point a couple weekends ago with the Aceves'. We had a ton of fun. The bloomometer told us that there were only 28% of the tulips bloomed :( It has been so cold that they just didn't want to come out yet! It was very windy and when we got home there was dirt dust everywhere. On our faces, in our hair, clothes, shoes etc... Kallie, who was covered up and asleep most of the time even had it on her face and in her hair. There was an author there that did a story time that we went to in the secret garden area. The kids rolled down the big hills they had there. All in all it turned out to be a really nice day. Natalie kept holding on to her pigtails worried that they were going to blow away. As Nate was running to the hill to roll down, Bry said, "Hey Nate" He saw that Bry had the camera ready and stopped, mid run and said "Cheese" with a huge grin. It was so cute! Emma and Jake rolled down the hill so fast and so much that they both got little headaches :s
