I said I would post pics of the dress I made for Abby. Here it is. I think she liked it. Like I said, it was very simple. Nothing fancy at all but still a learning experience.

There were some motorcyclists that drove up, were very loud and parked right in front of our apartment for Abby to peer out and see them. From that point on her and Bryan played motorcycle. Vroom Vroom!!!
This is Abby's motorcycle Helmet. Very stylish I might add...but probably not so safe. :)

hi rachie,
VERY CUTE!!! Great job on the dress!
Funny, I saw this fabris at Wal-mart last night and wondered if it was the same as Abby's dress. It was on clearance and I almost got it to make a dress for Jillian but then realized summer is almost over. And, I couldn't think of a spot to put it away until next spring/summer so at the store it stayed.
Good job!! I am proud of you for attempting and doing it.
ALOHA! The dress is adorable and so is Abby. Nice job. I'm always impressed with sewing. I'm hopeless at it. Haven't attempted it since junior high when I gave up on a drawstring gym bag. This dress doesn't look that EASY.
Tami, don't worry, the fabric comes pre-gathered with elastic on the top from wal mart. All I did was sew a hem at the back and at the bottom. Then straps, which was probably the hardest part cause they are so small and you had to measure them out to the right place. So I cheated...that is how it was so simple. :) pre done fabric! they have lots of different patterns at Wal mart. Smaller size fabrics and bigger size fabrics. I made the whole thing for less than $5.00.
