Our city had an Easter Egg hunt saturday morning put on by the youth city council. I wasn't feeling well enough to go, but Bry too Kallie. He said it was a mad house. Fun, but crazy. Pushing and shoving and stuff....by the parents NOT necessarily the kids. It was a chilly morning too!
In this video it shows a classic parent moment at this egg hunt. This Dad totally cuts Kallie off and blocks her so that his son can get the suckers. Poor girl. She was done after that. :( Sad that is has to be that way. But she got tons of suckers. More than she will probably consume.
They had lots of suckers all over the lawn and a few eggs. If you got an egg then you could go stand in line (after you emptied your egg) and return it so they could use it the next year. In return you got a big candy bar. There was cutting and shoving in line, again by the parents, not the kids. :(
But they had a great time.
