Just an FYI...
While I am doing some catch up I am post dating the posts to the date they occurred...so there may be a few that are farther back than you think, that you might have missed. I have to do it this way so I keep the events in order. Thanks!

Moonlight Appointment

Add a 3am Dr's visit to the list and another one scheduled for Monday. (We have a 24 hour Wee Care Clinic that we can go to so that we don't have to go to the ER.) Why you ask, well she had a high fever again and again and again. She had gotten her flu shot Friday and I thought maybe it was a result of that so we waited a night. But no...more fevers. They are so scary! Especially when your baby is burning up! Let me back pedal for a sec...she was given antibiotics for her ears on Wednesday but threw it up the second it hit her stomach. We tried 3 times with no success. She was fever free for a day and a half and when I went in to get the antibiotic shot we decided that she probably didn't need it. She seemed to be on the up and up. Instead she got the flu shot (she was supposed to get it Tuesday, and again, we thought she was getting better!) So, in we go early this morning with a fever of 103.8 and just having thrown up her Tylenol and nursing consumption (because her coughing and phlegm caused her to gag is my guess) I wasn't waiting till morning. She was checked, lungs still clear (sigh of relief) and ears still infected...so the antibiotic shot was next on the list. Let me just say, it is a very painful shot. If you could have seen Kallie's face (I was holding her, Bryan saw it though) and how angry she got afterwards at everyone in the room...then you would know. Luckily the shot has Lydicane in it so it didn't hurt for long, but she was mad for a while. She told everyone about it too. Sad part, we have to do a second one, and possibly a third depending on reassessment.

Hoping for our sweet girl and for us that it will be over soon!

p.s. to answer Trish's q's. Ear infection with viral. Possible back to back virals since she was a day and a half without fevers, but I think if anything it was a relapse cause we have been on total house arrest!

Oh poor sweet baby girl! It is so hard to watch your kids be so miserable and to feel like there is nothing you can do about it. Josh had chronic ear infections as a baby and finally had to have ear tubes put in. Fevers are so scary too. Hope she gets better very soon!

Oh sweet Kallie, I wish this was over for you already! We're still praying for you all and hope that everyone's feeling healthy and well rested ASAP!

Hugs!

Oh no! So sorry to here about your darling (but sicky) girl! Our prayers are with you. We are in total quarantine mode too with our little guy. I don't think Tim or I could handle him getting anything at this point! We'll stay home from EVERYTHING if it will keep him safe from the germ pods out there! Please let us know if we can do anything! Love You!
