Texas!!!

It has been a while...it took me an hour just to remember what we decided as a name and password for this page...hopefully that won't happen again. I am new to this. Bryan started it and I am going to try and keep up on it the best I can.

We are doing great! We are loving Texas through the heat, humidity and rain. we have weathered a couple of tornado warnings but all in all we are surviving. Bryan is finding a lot of success in his sales and I am having fun working from home and trying to catch up on scrapbooking.

We work six days a week so Sundays are the only day we are able to do things together. We have tried to be creative in finding things to do that are Sunday appropriate and that are free. We have been to a couple of really fun places. We went to the Fort Worth Water Gardens that had water falls that you could walk down into. We went while Lindsay Holmes was here visiting. It was incredible! The noise was crazy too!
This Sunday we went to a lake that has a pathway that is laid out all the way around it. It was gorgeous. We ended up driving to the other side of it to look at the houses. It was a huge lake and I wasn't prepared to walk around that whole thing! They had some beautiful colonial and victorian homes. We were wishing we had a canoe to paddle around in.

I don't know what next Sunday's adventures will take us but we will be sure to keep you posted!

Well, that'll be all for now. It has been fun experiencing new things. My only complaint...there are so many bugs! Of all kinds. I was brought back to my childhood days last night when I saw and caught a toad. I then proceeded to show it to everyone....WOW!
